Surface-mounted versions attach below the ceiling and can suit solid or shallow ceilings. Check overall dimensions, cable access, fire barriers and maintenance needs before deciding.

Are LED panel round lights dimmable?

Some LED panel round lights are dimmable, but the panel, driver and dimmer must all be compatible. A non-dimmable driver should not be connected to a dimming control. Check the permitted dimming method and load range to reduce the risk of flicker, limited adjustment or unreliable switching.

Can circular panel lights provide emergency lighting?

Certain circular panel lights are offered with an emergency pack or a separate emergency version. During a supply failure, the emergency output is normally lower than the everyday output. Verify the rated duration, emergency lumens, test method and compatibility of the complete assembly before including it in an emergency-lighting design.
