FAQs

Does this include a light bulb?
The light fitting has built-in LEDs which means it does not require a light bulb. The LEDs will last 25,000 hrs which is around 22 years if only used for 3 hours a day or 11 years if used for 6 hours a day.

Can I use this light in the bathroom? is it safe to use?
The bulkhead fitting is waterproof rated IP65 and is perfectly safe for use in all zones of the bathroom. It has been tested and meets all UK regulations for bathroom, indoor & outdoor use.

Can this be used with a PIR Sensor?
Yes the bulkhead can be used with a PIR sensor.  Please ensure that the sensor is compatible with this LED wattage.

Does the light come with flex or plug?
The light comes complete with 30cm of flex cable for easy mains installation.   The fitting does not come with a plug.

    Great little lamp

    This is a well made and bright lamp that is easy to fit. In the 'understairs' cupboard it is now akin to daylight when the lamp is switched on.
    Excellent value for money.
    Only downside is that the actual light source is not replaceable but, considering it is supposed to be good for 25000 hours and I don't intend to spend that amount of time under the stairs voluntarily, this should not pose a problem.
    For the money, should it fail, I will simply replace the whole unit.

    Brilliant light fitting.

    I have just had my light fitted to the ceiling in my pantry, under the stairs. It was always a dark, dimly lit area. Hard to read labels and see into the back of the freezer shelves. Not any more! It is neat and flat against the ceiling, and I think it is very good value and suits my requirements perfectly. Thank you.
