The BALHAM 18W LED drum style bulkhead with emergency function and microwave sensor complies with regulations BS 5266 and BS EN 1838:2013 for emergency lighting in commercial, public and accommodation premises. The light will operate a reduced light output on the battery for 3 hours, allowing the safe evacuation of a premises. It can be wired in either maintained or non-maintained mode, allowing function as part of a regular lighting circuit or only when the power is lost. The microwave motion sensor, also known as an occupancy switch, ensures that the light is only switched on when the area is in use. The microwave sensor has several settings including adjustable sensitivity, on-time and LUX (light level required for the sensor to operate).

The BALHAM 18W LED drum style bulkhead is a direct replacement and energy efficient alternative to traditional fluorescent 2D drum style bulkheads. This colour selectable tri-colour CCT light has three possible colour temperature outputs; 3000K, 4000K or 6000K. The colour can be selected at time of install and after install via a switch on the gear tray. Can be wall mounted or ceiling mounted and features BESA fixing points if required. Choice of M20 knockouts for 20mm conduit entry or direct rear cable entry via silicone seal gland. The gear tray is hinged for easy access to the terminal block and other components behind, making installation and maintenance easy while keeping the LED board free of clutter.
